I have worked within the museum field since 2003 when I accepted the position of Registrar of my college’s permanent art collection. Since that time, I have gained professional experiences across a range of areas by wearing many hats in both large and small institutions. These areas include rights & reproduction, collections database management, installation and object handling, textile conservation, exhibition planning and development, programming and education, as well as small museum administration including working alongside board members to create annual campaign marketing materials, and long-term institutional planning.

After attaining a Master of Liberal Arts degree focused on Museum Studies from Harvard University’s School of Continuing Education, I have returned to my home state of Michigan and work as Museum Arts Educator in the Detroit Metropolitan area. I am also available in a freelance capacity providing costume mounting services as well as evaluations, preventative care, and management of textile collections.
