The first two images are of an ongoing project—a hexagon design based on and modified from Willyne Hammerstein’s “Passacaglia with Mr Penrose” pattern from her book Millefiori Quilts. Made with Liberty of London and solid black tana lawn. Hand stitched using epp.
The third is a series of blocks from the 1930’s “Farmer’s Wife” book using a limited palette of bold colors to highlight the structure of each block.
